Art, in visual form, is for the centuries – and for all of humanity to view, contemplate and enjoy. In as much as the Bergendahl Contemporary Art Foundation is a collecting institution, it is also a custodian of things conceived by important human cultural and aesthetic creators of contemporary and post-modern art. Those creations contribute and connect into the multi-thousand-year thread of conversation – and the vocabulary – of the visual arts.
The mission of the Bergendahl Contemporary Art Foundation, (“BCAF”), is to collect, manage, preserve, exhibit, and provide education and access to the contemporary visual arts. The purpose of this organization is to promote general awareness, knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, and to support and engage in activities benefiting individuals and communities for their cultural enrichment.
